Studio Assistant

4-5 Days a week

Music Immersive are one of the UK’s leading ATMOS studios, preparing, mixing and delivering immersive music across a wide range of artists and genres.

The focus of the role is supporting MI mixer Stan Kybert to prepare and deliver spatial mixes. 

Previous ATMOS mixing experience not necessary, although you must have a solid working knowledge and background using Pro-Tools. You will also have:

A very technical minded skillset. 

Some stereo mastering experience.

You’ll be an organised team player whilst happy to follow direction to meet deadlines.

Good communication skills.

Daily tasks: 

Pre-mixing: matching incoming audio to provided stereo masters ahead of mixing. 

File management.

ATMOS mix printing and exporting deliverables. 

Working closely with Stan and the junior assistant day-to-day. 

• Please note, we work with artists and producers on ATMOS mixing, and are not a tracking, writing or recording studio. Do not apply for the role from a creative or music production interest. 

Working hours: 10am - 7pm

Probation period 2 months

Review after 6 months

Day rate of £150 per day.
